Satire: Richard DeNapoli, not on your ballot, holds a puppet bar. Strings run down to Mayor Edmund Malkoon and Commissioner Theo Poulopoulos, both on your ballot. He isn’t on your ballot. His two votes are. The 3–2 votes are real.

Vote NO on all 8 · Mayor and Seat 1

LBTS is not for sale.

Hi neighbor,

This fall, one Tallahassee suite paid for the glossy mail pushing all eight charter changes, and for the mail attacking Randy Strauss. That same suite donated to Richard DeNapoli’s first campaign, eight days before he was elected.

DeNapoli isn’t on your ballot. But he’s only one vote. The other two, Mayor Edmund Malkoon and Commissioner Theo Poulopoulos, are. Together, 3–2, the three of them pushed these through:

✗Doubling the Mayor’s term, and your wait to change who’s in charge.
✗Ethics removals sent to Tallahassee.
✗Six months in town is enough to run.
✗New names on Sea Grape Drive and Commercial Boulevard, without the Town telling the people who live there.

Tallahassee money shouldn’t decide how our town is run. Our town isn’t for sale.

The proof

Follow the money from Tallahassee to our little beach town.

Follow the money: a corkboard of public documents. 115 E. Park Ave., Suite 1, Tallahassee, home of Florida Taxpayers Defense, Accountability in Government, Inc. and Florida Conservatives United. Red string to the 2026 Vote YES on 1 to 8 mailer and the 2026 mailer attacking Randy Strauss, both paid for there. A string marked DONATED to Richard DeNapoli’s 2024 campaign report: a donation from Florida Conservatives United on March 11, 2024, eight days before he was elected. From DeNapoli, a string to May 26, 2026: all 8 charter changes put on your ballot 3–2 by DeNapoli, Malkoon and Poulopoulos. From the Vote YES mailer, a string to a card: Tallahassee is paying to pass all 8. Vote NO on all 8. In red crayon, the suite address is circled on the committee card and on his campaign report, marked SAME SUITE!, and his photo is circled with arrows pointing to it.

Proof: his 2024 campaign report (G3), line 2 · the committee’s state record · this year’s mailers · the 3–2 votes: the street sign, the state road, the four-year Mayor, all eight charter changes

Where this comes from: Richard DeNapoli’s 2024 campaign report (G3) and the State of Florida’s committee records; the paid-for lines on this year’s mailers; and the Town Commission minutes of September 10, 2025 and March 10, March 24 and May 26, 2026. The puppet picture is satire; the votes are real. All of it, with links, is at letsprotectourparadise.org/record.
