Mayor · Seat 1 · Seat 2 · November 3Eight. Six. Eleven. Zero. One. One.Every campaign publishes a list of the people and groups who back it. We put all six lists side by side, exactly as the campaigns published them. Then we counted the groups, mayors and other officials on each one. We did not count Town commissioners in office now, or friends and family, on either side. Every candidate’s mother would endorse him. We wanted to know who else did. Our three Town-First candidates are backed by a Republican congressman, the deputy sheriffs, realtors, the County Property Appraiser, and former mayors and commissioners. The other three are backed by the same three or four people, over and over. |
Exactly as each campaign published itRead the lists.Friends, family and neighbors are left off all six lists. Mayor Strauss has a Republican congressman, two former mayors of our town, the mayor of Sea Ranch Lakes, a Fort Lauderdale commissioner, and three groups: deputy sheriffs, realtors and labor unions. Malkoon has no groups and no outside officials. His only officials are two commissioners who vote with him. |

They are on opposite sides of most fights. Every one of them is backing Strauss, Goldberg or Ferguson. | 0 | Groups backing Malkoon, Poulopoulos or Bartholomew. Not one, on any of their lists. |

November 3
Hold them accountable. Hold our candidates accountable. You can only do that if you keep your rights.
|
NO |
on all 8 charter amendments
We are asking you to trust three neighbors with your vote. Do not trust anyone with your rights, including them. Vote NO on all eight and you keep the power to hold all of them to their word, including the three we recommend.
One reason for all eight. The people asking you to rewrite the charter are three of the five people it is meant to keep in check. Vote no on every one and it stays as residents wrote it. Anything worth changing can come back on its own.

Each has committed to vote in public, with their reasons on the record. If any of them breaks that promise, you should keep every right to act. All three races are decided by the whole town.
